800 headlines, wow. I commented a few posts back that spending time on 800 headlines is a waste of time just because writing this intesive should be focused on a long copy campaign.
But what the fuck do I know? I only post when I'm drunk, that alone takes away from my credibility.
I'll just say this, if you don't have a long copy campaign yet take this 800 challenge and make it the eight day long copy challenge. If you are a writer you should get a solid foundation if not something close to completion for long copy.
On the other hand if you do have long copy then this is a crazy challenge. Every writer should do this just to prove to themsleves that they have the work ethic nescessary to be a professional. It's not so out there that you will be working at an agency and you have to do a headline campaign. Unless you have the natural talent to get 3 headlines after only writing 30 then you will probably have to do this often when you are working.
Good luck to all writers taking on the challenge. I have three suggestions for products and here they are.
Bic lighters, pens, or razors. (consumer good)
Napster (service)
L'il Smokies - the little weiners people fish out with toothpicks. Hormel or Johnsonville (food)
I am going to choose Bic lighters.
