I am going to slay the next person who misuses "it's" and "its".
Otherwise, I think the layout is nice. The photo's lovely. I might have put the first two headlines together and let the last one stand alone.

I think its pretty solid. I like the art direction a lot, or at least the idea behind it. It would be interesting to see it pushed even more though. Ex. Maybe the top of the photo breaks surface to include the sky some. Could work.
